Safety, Labour and Licensing Regulatory Requirements (Destiny1)

This course examines building construction business operation as required by the Ontario Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Students will learn how to plan for permits and inspections and keep records in compliance with government regulations with significant focus on health and safety regulations. Students will also learn how to maintain employment records for employees to comply with CRA requirements for employment reporting periods. This module is part of the Contracting Small Business in Ontario Micro-certificate.
